FAQs

How many clients do you work with?

I keep my engagements to a small number to allow me to best focus on your needs. I typically will not work with more than five clients at a time.

How long is a typical advisory engagement?

We can usually accomplish our goals within 3 months. Engagements can be designed to fit your ongoing needs as required. There is no set deadlines and I’m happy to work long term with clients that are a great fit.

Do you follow a defined templated ‘system’?

No. Each company that I work with has different needs, resources, products, and customer mixes that require custom solutions. I am not a theoretical consultant - I’m here to advise you on how best to accomplish your needs based on your current situation.

How do we start an advisory engagement?

After an initial discovery call to make sure we’re a great fit, I will request the first month’s payment upfront. From there I will schedule a one hour discovery call to learn more about your needs, set expectations, and learn about your tools and business.

How often do we meet?

I typically meet with you or your team weekly or bi-weekly. Weekly sessions are via zoom in one hour sessions. During our relationship, there may be scenarios and needs that may require multiple quick 10 minute calls or check ins during the week. I do not bill by the minute and I offer you the freedom to text or email me as much as you need.

I need help outside of the support/operations realm. Do you have other resources that can help?

My professional experience has allowed me to build an extensive network of top leaders and executives in Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and BPO. I’m happy to introduce you to individuals that would compliment your style and needs.

Are you open to helping companies outside of healthcare or larger than a start-up?

My experience ranges from start-ups to large corporations in many different markets. Although I do specialize, I’m open to assisting you with your needs. Reach out to tell me more about what you’re looking to accomplish.

Do you fall under ‘contractor’ status in CA?

Advising.LA is a division of ACME Reporting LLC and does not bill as a contractor making it easier for companies to do business with us.
